  • Craving a milk chocolate bar
    wanting to raid the fridge.
    Potato Chips sound yummy,
    'specially the kind with the ridge.

    Ice-cream is calling me
    and I hear Cool-Whip too.
    In a big munchy mood,
    oh, what am I to do?

    I try to cover my ears
    but my eyes can still see.
    I may not hear them anymore
    but now their waving at me.

    So I close my eyes tightly
    but my nose starts to twinge.
    Now I can smell everything
    Oh, this may turn into a binge.

    Now I breathe out of my mouth
    so I can't smell any more.
    But now my mouth is open wide
    and I'm afraid for what's in store.

    But with my mouth opened wide
    I yell "I WILL NOT FAIL"
    "I will not let all this food
    send me to dieter's jail."

    I open up my eyes,
    and I uncover my ears.
    My nose stops twinging
    and I wipe away my tears.

    And as I looked around again
    I saw things much more clear.
    I now saw fruits and veggies
    begging me to draw near.

    So as I ate my apple
    I saw in the corner of my eye.
    That chocolate bar walk out the door
    and I yelled loudly, "GOOD BYE!"

  • The weekend's coming
    and Friday is here.
    But don't be worried,
    don't you fear.

    You don't need to fret
    you don't need to pout.
    You can get through it
    just write it all out.

    Write down your points
    write down your emotion.
    Don't be stuck eating
    through all the commotion.

    Eat with great thought
    and eat with great care.
    Don't eat on a whim
    and don't eat unaware.

    For when we are busy
    is when we are weak.
    Remember your goal
    a "new you" to seek.

    Don't let a weekend
    destroy your agenda.
    You can do this
    you can be a "contenda"!!

  • Nothing is off limits
    we can eat what we desire.
    But we must choose wisely
    if we want to buy new attire.

    Just because you "can"
    doesn't mean you always should.
    You need to aim for healthy foods,
    remember veggies are always good.

    Eating fast food french fries
    burgers and fried chicken.
    May make you crave more
    and maybe you'll do some extra pickin'.

    So be careful to pay attention
    to the foods that make you crave.
    Yes, you can have them occasionally
    WW doesn't treat you like a slave.

    But eating right is more than
    losing weight and smaller hips.
    Think about the big picture
    before that food goes on your lips.

    It's about a healthy heart
    and healthy muscles and joints.
    It's not just about pounds,
    weigh-ins and counting points.

    So while WW gives us the option
    to eat anything that you please.
    Remember to drink all your water
    and get in all of your 8 HG's!

    I hope you are doing great.
    Don't forget to drink your water
    and put veggies on your plate.

    Half the week has gone by
    and the weekend's drawing near.
    If you feel temptation knock,
    remember that I am here.

    You'll find support and help
    because I do understand.
    I am more than willing
    to lend a helping hand.

    Your WW journey is like a boat
    take a minute to stop and think -
    it takes hard work to make it sail,
    but only one bite to make it sink.

  • Getting through day one
    and now on to day two.
    Wondering if I will stay focused
    and successfully make it through.

    I will keep my eyes on the prize,
    and not begin to sway.
    I will remain faithful and determined
    doubt will not get in the way.

    I will stay on track every minute,
    every second of the day.
    And if I do mess up once,
    I won't throw the day away.

    I'll just get back on the horse
    and keep riding on the journey.
    I'll stay true to my commitment -
    For that's the only way to be.
